A huge thank you to all the 2019 Young Horticulturist Competition Finalists, Trust Members, Speakers and Sponsors who attended the Professional Development Day on the 13th of May. This event was held at the Auckland Botanic Gardens and is a one day event where the Finalist network, hear presentations & receive leadership training such as personality profiling & goal setting.

Thank you to Pippa Lucas (one of our 2018 Young Horticulturist Finalists) who works at the Auckland Botanic Gardens, for our lovely garden tour at the end of our Professional Development Day.
We have had feedback in the past, that it would be great to see some of the gardens when we are running our events, so we were very lucky that we had such a great day for this and it was wonderful to see everyone bond over such beauty.
