Winner: Braden Crosby (NZ Winegrowers). A viticulturist and winegrower for Borthwick Estate located in Carterton.

Second: Andrew Scott (Horticulture NZ). Andrew is an operations manager for Hewson Farms, Ashburton ( process potato, onion and mixed cropping farm).

Third: Karl Noldan (NZ Recreation Ass’n) is a team leader and curator for shrubs at the Wellington Botanic Gardens.

• Annika Horgan (Floristry NZ Inc) is a florist with her own business, Nectar Florist, in Canterbury.
• Andrew Rae (Landscaping New Zealand) is a construction landscaper with Southern Landmarx in Cromwell.
• Daniel Chong (Nursery and Garden) is a production foreman at Rainbow Trees in Ramarama.
