Second: Jim Smith (Fruit sector Hort NZ) technical manager for Satara packhouses and orchards in the Tauranga region. Now working at Seeka Industries.

Third: Toby Potter (Vege sector Hort NZ) employed by Ginseng Growers in Te Puke, is now working for Aerocool, Te Puke.

• Brandon Heslop (Arboriculture), an arborist for Spliceworks in Canterbury.
• Darren Barrett (Landscaping NZ) landscape team leader for Natural Habitats in Auckland
• Simon Bishell (NZ Winegrowers), a vineyard manager on the family farm in Blenheim
• Amanda Fisher (Cut Flowers) site manager for a cymbidium cutflower property in Whangarei.
• Jasmine Zimmerman (NZ Rec Ass’n- Amenity Horticulture) curator of the shrubs collection at the Wellington Botanic Gardens.
