Winner: Emma Taylor (NZ Winegrowers) is the company viticulturist with Villa Maria, Napier. Currently working part time on projects for Villa Maria and is a mother.

Second: Robert Humphries (Fruit sector Hort NZ) is an assistant site manager for Seeka Kiwifruit Industries Limited, Te Puke.

Third: Gavin Lodge (Landscaping NZ) works for Ground FX, a small landscape planning and garden development firm in Te Awamutu

• Elena O’Neill (Arboriculture), is the Park Officer – Trees, with Dunedin City Council.
• Meredith Guy (NGIA) group technical manager for the Pacific Wide Group exporting growing med, sphagnum moss and orchid bark.
• Jeff van Rijen (Vegetable sector Hort NZ), is the production manager and co-director of the tomato growing company Rembrandt van Rijen, at Ohaupo, 16kms south of Hamilton.  
• Louise Heller ( Floristry) is the owner of Bloom, a home-based business that specialises in Christchurch weddings.
• Chris Vork (NZ Rec Ass’n - Amenity Horticulture) is a horticulture co-ordinator at Pukekura Park, which comes under the auspices of the New Plymouth City Council
