Training tomorrow’s horticultural leaders

The Young Horticulturist Competition encourages young people in horticulture to further develop their skills and knowledge and to increase the opportunities for long term careers in the industry.

2020 Competition Postponed

In light of the Covid-19 response and many of the sector competitions not being run this year, the RNZIH Education Trust has decided to postpone the 2020 Young Horticulturist competition to 2021.

The pandemic is changing on a daily basis and we have no real idea where New Zealand will be at in November 2020.

Check back here later in the year as we start preparing for Young Horticulturist 2021.

Stay safe, look after your loved ones and we look forward to working with you all again for the 2021 event.
